AC EVO v0.5 Released — Watkins Glen, Paul Ricard & 7 New Cars
Assetto Corsa EVO version 0.5 is now live on Steam. It is a content-packed release that delivers two new laser-scanned circuits, seven new cars, a brand new Free Camera Mode and an aggressive polish pass on the racing experience.
New tracks (2 — both laser-scanned)
- Watkins Glen International — 4 layouts, bringing the charm of American motorsport with elevation changes and pure speed
- Circuit Paul Ricard — 4 layouts, where drag management and navigating the Mistral straight make the difference
New cars (7)
- Audi Sport quattro (1983) — rally-bred icon with turbo power and quattro AWD
- BMW M2 (G87) — modern compact M car blending turbo torque with a planted chassis
- Caterham Seven 485 CSR Final Edition — lightweight high-performance weapon
- Dallara EXP — prototype with aerodynamic efficiency and high-speed stability
- Porsche 911 GT3 RS (992) — track-focused naturally-aspirated machine

Free Camera Mode (first implementation)
A highly requested feature, the Free Camera Mode lets you explore the car and environment from any angle — ideal for cinematic replays, screenshots and content creation. This is an early version and will continue to improve in coming updates.
Under the hood
- DLSS 4.5 — improved performance and image-quality scaling
- Track Limits rework — time-gain-based evaluation, less punitive
- Blue Flags — first implementation in multiplayer
- UI improvements — granular car selection for server admins and Daily Racing
- Shared-memory improvements for motion rigs and external hardware
